Through our collaborative links with Cardiff University we are involved with many novel
material research projects, primarily for the medical sector, and are experienced in grant
funding applications for such projects.

In 2007 MBI (Wales) Limited acquired Technovent Limited, a world renowned implant retained
prosthetic magnet manufacturing company, whose innovative product portfolio naturally
compliments our prosthetic silicone materials.  This acquisition has enabled us to supply all
our products globally under the Technovent brand name.

We regularly run customer training courses in the use of our materials and new processing
techniques.

In addition, MBI offers a range of material consultancy and R&D services.  

Such services include involvement with many industries, often advising on application specific
material selection and where necessary the formulation and manufacture of custom materials
to acheive customer requirements.

Involvement with projects of a sensitive nature often require an undertaking of confidentiality
regarding the work and MBI prides itself on its discretion and ability to work closely with all
levels of management appropriately.
